How are EA pieces made?

All pieces are designed and created through the process of making master patterns in wax or metal, then using the ancient tradition of lost-wax casting reproduce the pieces.

Where are EA pieces made?

All Elizabeth Allardyce gold pieces are handmade in our Auckland workshop.

What are the quality of EA diamonds?

We use trusted Diamond Merchants within the Auckland area. Diamond grades are E-G colour and VS-SI clarity. 

Where do you source your gemstones from?

We use trusted gemstones merchants in New Zealand and Australia. 

What is rhodium plating?

Rhodium is a member of the platinum family. It is used to coat white gold metals to create a shiny white surface. The coating is applied because white gold itself can often have a yellow or greyish colour. 

How long will rhodium and gold plating last?

Plating naturally wears off over time depending on how much it is worn. Please refer to our Care Instructions for more information.

Americas: USA, Canada.
Far East: Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand.

Rest of the world: Australia.

What is your lead time?

We aim to have your piece completed within 6-8 weeks from when your order is confirmed. 

How long does it take to ship a piece?

Shipping within New Zealand via Courier Post takes approx 1-3 business days.

Shipping to the rest of the world through Fedex can take up to 3-5 business days.

Please note that we cannot be held accountable for delays in deliveries including customs clearance procedures.

Can I track my international order?

After we ship your order we will send you a link to your tracking page by email. 
Please click the link in the email to track your shipment or simply enter the tracking number on the courier’s homepage.

Are there any additional costs that will be due upon receipt of my order?

When orders shipped internationally reach the destination country there may be additional taxes or duties by the destination country.

Elizabeth Allardyce cannot be held responsible for any additional taxes or duties incurred by the destination country. For more information about taxes and duties we recommend you contact your local customs office. 

What do I do if I've ordered the wrong size?

Please email us within 48 hours with your correct size. Please note that if we have already started production you may incur an additional fee.

How do I cancel my order?

If you would like to cancel your order before it has been dispatched please email enquiries@elizabethallardyce.com.

Please note we will not be able to cancel the order if production has already started.

What is your Returns Policy?

If you are unhappy with your EA piece we are happy to arrange an exchange for you within 14 days of the purchase date. We do not offer refunds so please select your piece carefully. Please contact us at enquiries@elizabethallardyce.com with proof of purchase.

How do I return a piece that is faulty?

In the unlikely event of a manufacting fault occurring, please email us with the details of the piece, proof of purchase and image of the damage at enquiries@elizabethallardyce.com. 

Manufacturing faults do not include wear and tear of items such as bent bands, chipped, cracked broken pearls or stones/broken chains/plating that has worn off.

I have received the wrong item. What do I do?

Where are my items shipped from?

We ship items from Auckland, New Zealand.

Is my parcel insured?

Your parcel is insured against theft and accidental damage while in transit from our stock room to your delivery address. When you sign for delivery, responsibility for your purchased items passes to you.
